Joshua Blake Dabbs September 11, 2004 - April 13, 2021 Joshua Blake Dabbs, 16, of Danville, VA, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 13, 2021. Joshua was born in Danville, VA, on September 11, 2004, a son of Raymond "Ray" James Dabbs and Michelle Moore Dabbs. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Ashley Dabbs (Trace); paternal grandparents, Raymond K. and Ming Dabbs; maternal grandparents, Quain and Gale Moore; maternal great grandparents, Henry and Claudine Owen; aunts and uncles, Dean and Brittany Moore, Jonathan Dabbs, Rebecca Moore, and Cody Dodd; cousins, Silas, Summer, Melanie, Riley, and Benjamin; godparents, Crystal and David Barker and their children, Victoria Barker (Cameron), Gabrielle Barker (Dustin), and McKayla ( RJ and son, Mason); his girlfriend, Hannah Scearce; and his beloved great dane, Atlas. He was predeceased by a brother, Cameron James Dabbs; and a paternal great grandfather, Raymond C. Dabbs. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, April 18, 2021, at 3 PM in Mt. View Cemetery with Pastor Tim Rogers officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, prior to the service, at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM. Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel is respectfully serving the Dabbs family.
