About Joseph Calarese
EASTON---Joseph J. Calarese, 96, a resident of Easton for the past 61 years, passed away on January 29, 2022 after a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Jean E. (Noonan) Calarese. Born in Boston, a son to the late Eugene and Anna (Bruno) Calarese, he was raised in Boston and was a graduate of Boston Trade School. Joseph worked as a machinist and was employed by Ideal Instrument Company of Canton for 35 years. After retirement he took a position as a custodian for the Easton Public Schools. Joseph enjoyed antiquing most of his life and was an avid Red Sox Fan as well as all Boston sports. A communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church in Easton he was a member of Ames Rifle & Pistol Club of Easton. Joseph is survived by his son; Paul Calarese and his wife Joan of Easton; two grandchildren, Rosemary Calarese of Easton and Vincent Calarese of South Dartmouth; and a great grandchild, Sebastian. He was the brother of the late Mary Figurito, Frank Calarese, John Calarese and Vincent Calarese. A private family service was held on Saturday with interment in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Easton.
