About Johnathan Abbott
Jonathan "John" Perry Abbott, 22, of Ripley, WV, passed away April 11, 2014, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Fairplain. He was born March 11, 1992 in Ripley, WV, and was the son of Barbara (Abbott) Slack, and Chris Slack of Pt. Pleasant. He is also survived by his brothers, Eric Slack, and Curtis Slack, both of Pt. Pleasant; paternal grandmother, Donna Proffit of Kenna; maternal grandfather, Edwin Abbott of Ravenswood, his girlfriend, Haley Flinn, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Service will be 7 p.m. Monday, April 14, 2014, at Casto Funeral Home Chapel, Ravenswood, WV, with the Rev. Gerald Sayre officiating. Interment will be in the Blaine Memorial Cemetery, Cottageville. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
