About John Baldwin
John A. Baldwin, 58, of Spencerville, died 8:05 p.m., Sat. Jan. 18, 2014, surrounded by his children. He was born July 16, 1955, in Lima, the son of John Mack & Veda Marie (Mathewson) Baldwin, who preceded him in death. Survivors include, 2 children, Joseph (Heather) Baldwin, Spencerville, OH Jennifer Baldwin, Charleston, SC, a granddaughter, Stella Baldwin, a brother, Wilbur (Phyllis) Baldwin, Williams Bay, WI, & his dog, Bishop. A 1973 graduate of Spencerville High School, John worked as a machine & die operator at American Trim, Wapakoneta. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Post # 191, Spencerville. John enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter, Stella, and beloved dog, Bishop. His hobbies included woodworking, watching football, and NASCAR. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Thurs. Jan. 23, 2014, at the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville Pastor Brandon Green officiating. Burial is to follow in the Spencerville Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2-8 p.m., Wed. Jan. 22, at the funeral home. Published in The Lima News from Jan. 20 to Jan. 21, 2014
