Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Oakey of 322 East 57th Street, Southampton, Long Island, New York (ca. January 1942). Married Samuel Nicoll Benjamin on February 15, 1942, in the Church of All Saints-by-the-Sea, Montecito, Santa Barbara, California. The reception was held at the nearby winter home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles M. Bleecker of Cold Spring Harbor, N. Y., the bride's aunt and uncle. Her sister was Louise Sargent Oakey McVeigh Patterson .
