About Janet Nadler
Janet Sharrine Nadler, 59, of Wheeler, died at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Saturday at Blake-Buchanan Funeral Home in Newton. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Carroll Ross officiating. Burial will be in Scott Cemetery near Winterrowd. Mrs. Nadler was born March 3, 1949, in Olney, the daughter of Raymond A. and Mary Jane (Williams) Doan. She married Ron Nadler on June 1, 1972, in Olney. She was the manager at Illinois Official Grain Inspection in Teutopolis. She was a member of Winterrowd Christian Church and Gideons Auxiliary. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. She was so proud of her children and grandchildren. She was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. Mrs. Nadler is survived by her husband of 35 years, Ron Nadler, of Wheeler; mother, Mary Jane Doan, of Olney; children, Sharrine "Sharri" Kerkhoff and her husband, Harrell, of Tuscola, John Nadler and his wife, Melissa, of Mattoon, and Erin Wickman and her husband, Kevin, of Newton; grandchildren, Raymond Kerkhoff, Julia Kerkhoff, William Nadler, Emma Nadler, Jacob Wickman and Wade Wickman; brothers and sisters, Marty Doan and his wife, Janice, of Albion, Sandra Gaither and her husband, John, of West Salem, Jeff Doan and his wife, Paula, of Mt. Carmel, and Jacque Doan, of Evansville, Ind. She was preceded in death by her father. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Winterrowd Christian Church or to Gideons International.
