He died June 25, 2022, in Houston, Texas at the age of 49 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, swimming, dirt bike riding and being outdoors. He loved being a truck driver and travelling across the United States. For many years he worked at Milan Logistics where he felt part of the family. Jamie loved listening to country music as he traveled across the nation. In recent years he developed a love of cooking when he was home from a long haul. Those he left behind: Son: Shawn Burns and partner Misty Carlton of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Son: Derrick Burns and his son Kase Eastin Burns of Owasso, Oklahoma Daughter: Stephanie Burns of Winamac, Indiana Half Sister: Kelli Burns Cox and her son Cayden Cox of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma Father: Dave Burns and wife Lorene Burns, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma Grandfather: Sam Burns, of Chouteau, Oklahoma Mother: Loretta Sue (Eastin) Pascarella, of Katy, Texas Aunts and Uncles: Sarah and Tom Gomez of Beggs, Oklahoma; Laura Ellen Eastin of Collinsville, Oklahoma; Mike Reeves of Tulsa, Oklahoma Step-brothers and Step-sister and families Raymond Pascarella, Jr.; Stephen Pascarella; Michael Pascarella; Russell Pascarella; Jenifer Lewis; Rhonda McCuller; Vickie Johnson; Kevin Girty; Randy Acker; Dennis Acker. Lots of cousins and dear friends he loved like family.
