About James Krauss
Jim was born in St. Marys, Ohio, on September 8, 1933. He attended Olivet Nazarene College where he met and married his wife Janice. Jim was a retired pastor, having served at churches in Ohio and Michigan. In retirement he lived in Spring Arbor, Michigan and was a member of Spring Arbor Free Methodist Church. He was an avid reader and enjoyed studying scripture and theology. He also enjoyed fishing and camping, but most of all he loved spending time with friends and family. He will be remembered for his kind heart and his sense of humor. He was proceeded in death by his brother, Richard Krauss. He is survived by his wife Janice Krauss, son Greg (Karen) Krauss, daughter Janelle Krauss, Grandchildren Katherine Krauss, Christopher Krauss, Joshua (Hannah Beauchamp) Krauss, Jordyn Krauss, and great-granddaughter Josie Krauss. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 24 at 11:00am at The Arbor Church in Spring Arbor, Michigan. Published by Jackson Citizen Patriot from May 10 to May 12, 2023.
