About James Kortes
James "Jim" Kortes , age 93, a resident of Chippewa Falls, WI formerly of Three Lakes, WI passed away January 19, 2022 at Our House Senior Living in Chippewa Falls, WI. He was born October 19, 1928 in Virginia, MN to parents Fred and Marie Kortes. Jim married Audrey Brazale in October 1951. He worked in Information Technology at American Motors in Milwaukee until 1983. He had a second career as a counselor after he and Audrey moved to Three Lakes in 1984. Jim was a dedicated walker. He was at it every morning either on the roads or on the treadmill if weather didn't permit. He also enjoyed golfing and playing dart ball for many years. Jim is a member of American Legion Post 431 and was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church. Jim is survived by sons Robert (Sandra) Korte and Jeffrey (Nancy) Kortes; 5 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. Interment will be at Three Lakes Cemetery at a later date
