He is survived by his wife Wilma sons Ken and Jack, stepchildren, Dirk, Dave, Faith and Herman, sisters Eloise Kok and brothers Douglas, Donald, Robert and Alan. Services 2 pm Saturday at Grace Bible Church, 19280 N. 99 Ave, Sun City. Those who wish to donate may make donations in his name to the church. ************************************* Bellingham Herald, The (WA) - Sunday, April 20, 2003 Jack Howard Paauw was born in Tyler, Minnesota on September 1, 1932 and died April 16, 2003. The youngest of seven children and the son of a pastor, Jack spent his boyhood years in Tyler Sultan, Washington and Vancouver, British Columbia. He graduated from Brittania High School in Vancou-ver, then attended Calvin College and Calvin Seminary in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He graduated from Calvin Seminary and was ordained as a pastor in the Christian Reformed Church in 1957. Between 1957 and 1967, Jack pastored the Christian Reformed churches in Hammond, Indiana, Long Beach, California and Bellingham, Washington. Jack attended University of Washing-ton from 1969 to 1971 and earned his Masters of Social Work degree. He worked for the State of Washington from 1971 through 1976. From 1976 to 1990, he was a director and a therapist for Bethesda Cascade, a Christian outpatient mental health program in Bellingham,. He went into private practice in 1990, from which her retired in 1995. Jack was precede in death by his wife, Peggy, who passed away in Bellingham on December 31, 1980. In 1985, Jack married Wilma Aardsman and they were blessed with nearly 18 years of wonderful marriage. Jack and Wilma have resided in Surprise, Arizona since 1995. Jack is survived by his wife, Wilma son, Jack (Susan), grandchildren, Meggy and Emily of Mercer Island, WA son, Ken (Karon), grandchildren, Matthew and Ryan of North Bend, WA stepchildren, Dirk (Patricia), grandson, Geoffrey of St. Petersburg, FL David (Deborah), grandchildren, Ta-mara and Sean of Bellflower, CA Herman and grandchil-dren, Samantha and Michael of Denver, CO. Jack is also sur-vived by four brothers, Alan, Donald, Douglas and Robert, and one sister, Elsie. There will be a memorial serv-ice on Wednesday, April 23 at 2pm at Hope in Christ Church, 710 E. Sunset Dr.
