J.L. Sprouse Obituary J.L. Sprouse, 85, of 6404 Cross Anchor Road, died Thursday, March 1, 2001, at his home. A native of Laurens, he was a son of the late Grover Cleveland and Louise Sprouse. Survivors: Wife, Pansy Sprouse of Woodruff; sons, Bobby Sprouse of Roebuck, William J. Sprouse of Hampton, Va., and James C. Sprouse of Spartanburg; brothers, Marvin, Walter and Pete Sprouse; sisters, Vivian Kennedy, Marie Vise and Vera Lackey; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Memorial service: 6 p.m. today at Forest Hill Funeral Chapel. Visitation: 1 to 1:45 p.m. Sunday at the funeral chapel, with the service at 2 p.m. Burial: Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.
