Leonard Graphic 12-22-2003 J.D. Record GREENVILLE - Graveside services for J.D. Record, 78, of Greenville, formerly of Leonard, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, at the Grove Hill Cemetery near Leonard with Charles Wrenn officiating. Record passed away Thursday, Dec. 18, 2003, at the Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. He was born Feb. 11, 1925, in Leonard, the son of Frank Record and Eula Medley Record. He married Ann White on Dec. 22, 1944, in Leonard. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Richardson and was an accountant. Survivors include his wife, Ann Record of Greenville; brothers, Frank Lewis Record of Carthage and Charles Ray Record of Winnsboro. His parents and two sisters, Mary Katherine Berry and Dorothy Marie Milner, preceded him in death. Visitation was held Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. Taylor Funeral Home of Leonard was in charge of the arrangements.
