About Irma Laborie
Irma E. Laborie, 82, of 423 Fairview Ave. died Tuesday at her home after an illness. Born in Butler, Dec. 17, 1921, she was the daughter of George J. and Mary M. Fetzko Blasko. Dainty, reserved and never complained, she was a homemaker and formerly worked at Franklin Glass for 13 years. Mrs. Laborie was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church. Surviving are her husband to whom she was married for 47 years; and son and daughter-in-law; a daughter; and three grandchildren. A brother and two sisters, all of Butler, also survive. LABORIE -- Friends of Irma E. Laborie, who died Tuesday, May 4, 2004, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Martin Funeral Home, 429 Center Ave. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Center Ave., with the Rev. James Dolan officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. The Bereavement Group of St. Michael Parish will hold a scriptural wake service at 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
