Howard "Junior" W. Anderson, 89, of Dunbar, passed away peacefully at his home Friday, Dec. 12, 2014, surrounded by his loving family He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur R. Anderson and Goldie E. Martin-Anderson; his wife, Viola M. Nativio-Anderson; his siblings, Edward "Eddie" Anderson and Sara "Sally" Anderson; infant brother, Ronald Ray Anderson; and great-granddaughter, Raean N. Kenney. He is survived by his son, Ronald Anderson and wife, Cheryl, of Connellsville; daughter, Kathy Dynes and husband, Derwood, of Dunbar; daughter, Patti Zavada and her husband, Pat, of Dunbar; daughter/granddaughter, Robin Beal and husband, John, of Dunbar, and loving companion, Rosie Bierer, of Dunbar; grandchildren, Michelle McKnight, Heather Burnsworth, Ronnie Anderson and wife, Nicki, Jamie Kenney and Todd, and Rachel Bryner and fiance, Tommy; great-grandchildren, Travis Burnsworth, Jordan McKnight, Jenny Kenney Cody Burnsworth and wife, Mandy, Colten McKnight, Taia Anderson, Jacob Anderson (4th generation), Kaiden Moskala, Landen Conroy, Delani Anderson and Nico Anderson (4th generation); great-great-grandchildren, Hunter Bennett and John Rae Kenney; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Junior was retired from North Fayette Municipal Authority and also Bruno's Bar with many years of service. He was a member of the Connellsville Eagles, Dunbar Eagles, Juniata Sportsmen's Club, Slovak Club and Sons of Italy. He loved his animals, especially raising chickens and hunting dogs, and enjoyed watching baseball and football games, spending time outdoors and attending social events. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends! Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, from 9 a.m. to noon and from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, and until 11 a.m., the time of service, Wednesday in the BURHANS-CROUSE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Connellsville St., Dunbar, with the Rev.
