About Henry Tackett
Henry Tackett, age 76 of Valparaiso, Passed away October 31, 2010 at his home. Henry was born on January 4, 1934 to Clarence and Annie (Brown) Tackett, who preceded him in death. Henry married Lisa (Marshall) Tackett, who survives of Valparaiso. He is also survived by a son, Bryan Tackett of Hopkinsville, KY and a daughter, Brenda Hazlett of Chicago, IL; four grandchildren, Christopher Hazlett, Lyndsie Shipley, Carolyn Tackett and Cody Tackett; Brother, Persey Tackett of Paintsville, KY; sisters, Malty Arms and Molly Tackett of Paintsville, KY, Marie Morgan and Clara Kearby of Lake Station, IN. Henry was preceded in death by three brothers, Sam, Ed and Jim Tackett. Henry was a Bricklayer for US Steel; he attended Jubilee Worship Center and loved his family dearly. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday November 3, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home Portage Chapel, 6941 Central Ave, Portage, IN with Pastor Dale Combs officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday November 3, 2010 from 12:00 pm till time of service at 2pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso, IN. In Lieu of flowers, Memorial gifts may be made to the family
