Henrietta Urquhart Neild

Henrietta Neild, 80, died in Florida on January 3, 2007. She was the daughter of the late John and Louise (Mahlstedt) Morris. Henrietta graduated Licensed Practical Nurses School in Oswego and moved to Zephyrhills, Florida in 1987 with husband of 50 years, Dewitt Eugene Neild. She enjoyed singing in First United Methodist Church Choir, Betmar chorus, writing class, golf, darts, bike riding, and socializing with neighbors. Survived by four sons, Dewitt Eugene Jr. of Ithaca, David Henry of Elmira, Jack Morris of Suffolk, VA, Richard Clarke of Baltimore, MD; one brother, David Urquhart Morris of Oswego; granddaughters, Rachel Ann, Shannon Louise, Elizabeth Jeanne, Melissa Mary, Jessica Marie (Del Piero); two grandsons, Brian David, Chad Andrew; three great-grandchildren, Brandon David and Tatiana Danielle, Cross Joel. She was predeceased by her husband, Dewitt Eugene, 2000; a daughter, Jeanne Marie, 1981; a sister, Jeanne Morris (Kowalski); two brothers, John Urquhart Morris Jr. and George Urquhart Morris. A Memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, April 14 at First United Methodist Church in Oswego; Parents- John and Emma Lee Morris; siblings- Jeannne, George, John and David. Oswego firemen commended two nurses at the Old Ladies Home today for putting out a fire in an upstairs closet with a pressurized water fire extinguisher.
