About Helen Oberholzer
DENNISON - Mrs. Herman J. (Nellie C.) Oberholzer, 84, of 315 N. 2nd St. died of congestive heart failure Tuesday in Twin City Hospital. She had been ill one week. She was born here to Thomas C. and Margaret Carmody Caniff and was a life resident. A member of Immaculate Conception Church and its Altar Society, she was a 1908 graduate of St. Mary's High. In addition to her husband, to whom she was married 61 years, she is survived by a son and two daughters, Jack C. of here, Mrs. Max (Susie) Holleyoak of Tappan and Mrs. Helen Ashleman of Uhrichsville: eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A brother and sister are deceased. Fr. Thomas Brosmer will officiate at services Friday at 9:30 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church. Friends may call Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 in the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home, where rosary will be prayed at 7. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
