Grace Louise Neil

Grace Louise Neil, 95, of Springdale, Ark., passed away Aug. 27, 2023, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Ark. She was born May 26, 1928, in Springtown, Ark., the cherished daughter of Charley "Jack" and Pearl Sitton Straight. Grace was defined by unwavering dedication to family, an enduring faith, and passions that enriched all who were fortunate enough to cross her path. She had a profound faith and was a devoted member of Cross Church (formerly First Baptist Church) in Springdale, Ark., since the 1950s. Her love for the Lord was evident in her actions and interactions. She enjoyed gardening, culinary arts, crocheting, sewing, and painting, all showcasing her creativity and commitment. She is described as devoted, endearing, loving, compassionate, possessing a servant's heart, and having a lasting impact on family and friends. Grace was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde, her husband of 73 years, granddaughter Sarah Ross [#36487929], and siblings Dorothy Tabor and Frank Straight. Grace is survived by her children, Mark Neil (Jaquita) of Springdale, Ark., and Vicki Ross (Randy) of Cave Springs, Ark., grandchildren Jessie Bishop (Jesse) of Springdale, Ark., and Joshua Neil (Jordan) of Rogers, Ark., great-grandchildren Ryder and Kennedy Grace Bishop of Springdale, Ark., siblings Jack Straight (Linda) of Tulsa, Okla., Betty Howard of Maumelle, Ark., and Doris Perry of Gentry, Ark., and many other family and friends. Visitation will be at 1 pm Fri., Sept. 1, 2023, followed by a funeral service at 3 pm, both at Benton County Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 3800 W. Walnut St., Rogers, Ark.
