About Goldie Morgan
Goldie (Rue) Angel Morgan , age 93, of Powell, Tennessee, formerly of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away December 13, 2023. Longtime member of Karns Church of Christ. She went to beauty school in Knoxville, in 1946. Worked as a hairdresser in Lexington, KY and Williamsburg, KY. She was a devout wife, mother, and grandmother. Preceded in death by husband, Charles Eugene Morgan; brother, Tunney Angel; mother, Addie Ward Angel and father, Harry Angel. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Phillip (Randy) Hall; granddaughters, Autumn Angel Hall and Savannah Grace Hall; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and A.C. Gibbs and many special extended family members. Family and friends will meet at Oak Ridge Memorial Park (Garden of Valor) at 2:45 pm Friday, December 15th for a 3 pm graveside service.
