Gertrude Lou Woods Tabor Gertrude Lou Woods Tabor, age 68 of Cecilia, KY died Friday, September 26, 2014 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She was born on January 23, 1946, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Gertrude Lawless Woods. She was homemaker who enjoyed cooking for her family, fishing, working crossword puzzles, flower gardening, watching wildlife from her porch and spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband James Franklin Tabor stepdaughter - Christina Tabor granddaughter - Brianna Nichole Tabor 2 sisters Gertrude is survived by 6 children: Jamie Tabor and Jayme Lee Rhodes of Cecilia, KY Howard Rhodes of Hardinsburg, KY Linda Lou Barrera of Lexington,KY Brandon Tabor of Tell City, IN Shannon Brown of Louisville, KY 6 stepchildren: Jimmy Tabor of Cloverport, KY Willie Tabor, Anna Mae Etienne and Christina Tindle of Owensboro, KY Anna Pauline Tabor of Tennessee Carol Sue Tabor of Louisville, KY 9 grandchildren and 8 step grandchildren 1 sister - Nellie Tabor of Nancy, KY 5 brothers - Gordon Woods of Indianapolis, IN Bill Woods of Hudson, KY Sammy Woods of Owensboro, KY Charles Woods of Cloverport, KY James Raymond Woods of Indiana Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Tuesday, 9-30-2014 at 1 PM with burial in the New Bethel Cemetery. Visitation on Monday, 4-8 PM and Tuesday after 8:30 AM. Memorial contributions are requested to: Gertrude Tabor Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home to assist with expenses.
