About Gertrude Oberle
Gertrude A. Oberle,88 died Sept.28,1996 at her home in Dodge City,KS. She was born on Jan.15,1908 at Odin,Ks the daughter of Pius Sylvester and Mary Elizabeth(Kirmer)Gerstenkorn. She spent her childhood in Barton county. After her marriage on Oct.2,1928 in Claflin to Joseph J. Oberle she moved to a farm southeast of Dodge City,Ks. She moved into Dodge City in 1978. She was a member of Sacred Heart Cathedral, Sacred Heart Altar Society and a charter member of Harmony Extension Unit all of Dodge City,KS. Survivors are sons Eugene J. of Huntington,N.Y. and William Dean of Inman,KS and a daughter, Alice Sullivan of Dodge City,KS; two sisters Sally Gomez and Mary Beth Gerstenkorn both of Dodge City,KS.; 10 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
