JEANNIE'S OBITUARY Jeannie Adkison, 63, of Hemphill, Texas passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at home surrounded by her loved ones. Jeannie was born on October 1, 1958 in Charleston, South Carolina to Robert Franklin Dickerson and Wilma Jean Latham. She was a loving housewife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, R.F. Dickerson and Wilma Jean Latham Dickerson; her first husband, Richard Hopson; her second husband, Terry Adkison, Sr.; brothers, Terry Jo Dickerson, Billy Waldon and Robert (Dickie) Dickerson, Jr. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at Starr Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Starr Funeral Home with Bro. Pat Jacks and Bro. Danny Bentson officiating. Burial will follow services at Springhill Cemetery in Hemphill, Texas with Charles Dickerson, Tommy Dickerson, Bobby Waldon, Steven Waldon, Eric Rogers, Shaun Rogers and Richard Hopson serving as pallbearers.
