About Frank Bennett
Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mr. Frank "Bill" Bennett Jr., age 87 of Nunez, GA on Thursday, June 30, 2016. Graveside services will be Sunday, July 3, 2016 at 2 PM in the Hebron Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Garfield, with Rev. Jim Harrell officiating. The Family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6-8 PM. Mr. Bennett was born in Garfield, GA to the late Frank and Peggy Johnson Bennett. Bill was a farmer, who loved to hunt, fish, and spend time with his family. He is preceded in death by one sister, Fannie Murl Hall and five brothers, Ernest “Buddy” Bennett, Earl Bennett, David Bennett, B.L. “Bozie” Bennett, and Leonard Bennett, and one sister-in-law, Martha Bennett. Survivors include: One Son: Todd Hooks (Angela) of Nunez Four Sisters: Lucy Roberson of Nunez, Mary Barth of Stillmore, GA, Peggy Ann Youmans (Lamar) of Stillmore, and Sally Hareb of Twin City Three Brothers: Napoleon Bennett, Dan Bennett, and Gene Bennett all of Nunez Two Grandchildren: River Hooks and Paige Hooks of Nunez Several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
