About Flora Barker
Flora Arebelle Barker, 83, of Ravenswood, WV, passed away on June 12, 2022, at Ravenswood Village in Ravenswood, WV, surrounded by family and friends. She was born on January 25, 1939, in Ironton, Ohio, daughter of the late Floyd and Roberta Reed. Flora was a member of North United Methodist Church in Ravenswood. She loved quilting, cooking, camping, and family gatherings. She was especially devoted to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Flora had been an employee at Ravenswood Care Center. She is survived by her sons, Jerry Barker and Timmy Barker; daughters, Phyllis Kidder and Tammy Morgan (Randy); grandchildren, Angel and Alexa, Zachary and Christina, Zane, Brandy (Ryan), Jason (Leanna), Misty (Clint), and Candice (Josh); and 11 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence G. Barker, son, Clarence D. Barker; brothers, Earl, Lawrence, Claude and Lee Reed; and sisters, Darlene Stewart, Dorothy Hardy, and Ruth Ferguson. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at 1:00 pm at Roush Funeral Home in Ravenswood with Pastors Tom Nolan and Bret Wilson. Burial will follow in Jackson County Memory Gardens in Cottageville, WV. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Thursday, June 16, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Condolences may be expr
