About Evelyn Schley
Evelyn, age 87, passed away at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka. She was the daughter of Harold and Lucille (Rawstern) Gilbert. She married Beryl Dean Schley on November 27, 1954, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Yale, South Dakota. She is survived by her husband, her children, Rick Schley, Gary Schley, Sandra Swygert, Donna Townsend, Irene Mayer, and Stan Schley, 20 grandchildren and step-grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, and her siblings, JoAnn Schley, Helen Pickles, Richard Gilbert, Kenneth Gilbert, Carol Carlson, Ellen Haigh, Jerry Gilbert, Ronnie Gilbert, Thomas Gilbert, Connie McNeely, Susan Martin, and Beth Moore.. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Delores Irene Gilbert and Charles Ira Gilbert. Funeral services will be held April 27, 2024, Trinity Lutheran Church in McFarland. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
