Eulogio Maldonado

Share a vogio Maldonado Sr. of Quinton, NJ went home to be with the Lord on January 20, 2023 after a battle with cancer surrounded by family. Reverend Maldonado was born in Manati, Puerto Rico on August 8,1936 to Alberto Maldonado and Aurora Maldonado (Maisonet). He is predeceased by two brothers, Bienvendio Maldonado and Efrain Maldonado, and one sister, Maria Plaza (Maldonado). He is also predeceased by two granddaughters, Karolina M. Jimenez and Kassandra M. Jimenez. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Ramona Maldonado. He is also survived by three brothers, Heriberto Maldonado of Pompano Beach, FL, Perfecto Maldonado and Evaristo Maldonado, both of Manati, PR. Reverend Maldonado is also survived by his 14 children including: Jose Maldonado and wife Paula of Clermont, FL, Blanca Maldonado and husband Patrick Adams of Salem, NJ, Felix Maldonado and wife Zahida of Eustis, FL, Juan Antonio Maldonado (Petey) of Springfield, MA, Alberto Maldonado of Manati, PR, George Fath of Pennsville, NJ, Jose Maldonado (Cheito) and wife Rayni of Martinsville, VA, George Maldonado and wife Lisa of Quinton, NJ, Margarita Murrugarra (Maldonado) and husband Luis of Middletown, DE, Lidia Leon (Maldonado) and husband Carlos of Carney's Point, NJ, Elisabet Sanchez (Maldonado) and husband Hector of Pedricktown, NJ, Benjamin Maldonado and wife Amarilys of North Versailles, PA, Eulogio Maldonado Jr. of Philadelphia, PA, and Ramona Hernandez (Maldonado) and husband Juan Carlos of Carney's Point, NJ. He was also the proud Abuelo of 32 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. After spending 30 years working at Anchor Glass Reverend Maldonado retired from there and devoted his life to being a pastor for the last 48 years of his life, continuing to preach and lead weekly Bible study even during his illness. Reverend Maldonado started the Biblia Alberta Church in his home with his wife Ramona Maldonado before eventually moving to the church's current Haines Neck Rd location. Throughout the years he touched countless lives and made a much larger impact on the lives of so many than he could possibly know. In addition to serving as a pastor, Reverend Maldonado loved spending time in his "small garden," which most would call a large field. He also loved spending time with loved ones. He always had Bible lessons, stories, words of wisdom, and jokes including his smile and saying "cheeseburger" when taking a picture. Reverend Maldonado was a true man of faith, a prayer warrior, and an irreplaceable example to all, who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A viewing will be held on Saturday, January 28th from 10-12 with the services directly after at the Carney's Point Assembly of God Church located at 380 Georgetown Rd, Carney's Point, NJ with the burial immediately following at Lawnside Cemetery located at 896 NJ-45, Woodstown, NJ.
