About Elmer Quam
Services for Elmer Quam age 66, were held Monday at the Sturgeon Bay Moravain Church and burial in Bayside Cemetery. The Davis Funeral Home was in charge. Mr. Quam died at Memorial hospital on July 27, 1962, after a week's illness. He was born September 23, 1895 in Kenosha to Ole and Johanna {Hannah} Quam and lived all of his life in Sturgeon Bay. During World War II, he as a shipyard guard. He married Eva Long September 14, 1925. He is survived by his wife Eva, a son Eugene S. Quam and a daughter Anita (James) Mineau of Sturgeon Bay; four grandchildren; three brothers: Lloyd of Sturgeon Bay, Walter of Reanoke, VA and George; three sisters: Mrs. Frank Buckhardt of Redondo Beach, California, Mrs. W.C.
