Elizabeth W Zaccari

QUINCY - Elizabeth W. Zaccari, of 99 Brackett St, Quincy, MA, died Sunday, March 4, 2018 at South Shore Hospital, Weymouth, MA with her family by her side. She previously resided in Pittsfield, MA and North Quincy, MA. She was born in Quincy, MA on May 14, 1930. She was the daughter of Eleanor Hathon and attended Quincy schools. Elizabeth worked in retail banking. She enjoyed crafts, including knitting, quilting, rug braiding and horseback riding and also enjoyed square and round dancing, having been a long time member of Circle 8 Square Dance Club. She was a former communicant of St. Chrysostom's Episcopal Church in Quincy and after making her profession of faith in the Catholic Church, she was active with Mt. Carmel and of St. Mark's Churches in Pittsfield. She is predeceased by her first husband, Wilbur R. Larson and second husband Richard A. Zaccari, Sr. Survivors include her two half-brothers, Leonard Hathon and his wife Priscilla, and Stanley Hathon and his wife Eva, a son, Dean A. Larson and wife Glenda of Hanover, MA, and her daughter, Ellie Mulcahy and her husband David of Monmouth, ME, and five grandchildren, Nathan Larson, Andrew Larson, Beth Mills, Kathryn Pope, Meredith Mulcahy, a step-son, Richard Zaccari, Jr and his wife Shirley of Pittsfield, MA, and a step-daughter, Maryann Hyatt and her husband, Brian of Sheffield, MA, 3 step grandchildren, Debbie Smith, Cheryl Zaccari, Richard Zaccari III, and their families including 10 great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. Elizabeth was predeceased by her father Howard Williams, her mother Eleanor (Jack) Williams Hathon, her step father, Leonard Hathon, Sr. and two brothers, Arnold Williams and Howard Williams. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 9:00 am at St Mary of the Sacred Heart Church 392 Hanover St, Rte 139 in Hanover, MA. An interment will occur later in the spring.
