About Elizabeth Wade
BOONVILLE - Mrs. Elizabeth Wade, 93, of 108 Aubrey Ave., widow of Ross C. Wade died this morning in a Constableville nursing home. She was born in England Dec. 3, 1868, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Breckenridge and came to this country with her parents at the age of two. Her father was engaged in cheesemaking which he had learned in England. Mrs. Wade received her education in the Boonville schools and was married to Mr. Wade many years ago. After their marriage they purchased a farm at Ava which they operated for many years before selling it and moving into the village where they had since resided. Mr. Wade died in 1921. Mrs. Wade was a member of the Boonville Baptist Church and of the Cady Bible Class of that church. Surviving are two sons, B. Harrison Wade, Boonville, and Robert W. Wade, Fairbanks, Alaska; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a sister. Mrs. Anne Geisenhoff, Durhamville. A son, Col. Arthur Wade, USA, died several years ago. Burial will be in the Boonville Cemetery. Rome Daily Sentinel, Friday Evening, April 6, 1962
