About Elizabeth Foley
Elizabeth Ann Routh "Libby" Foley, age 81 of Climax, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 10, 2023, at her daughter's home. Libby was born on July 6, 1941, to Carl Thomas and Arleta Fields Routh. Libby was a graduate of Pleasant Garden HS and worked as a cafeteria lady for 34 years. She loved spending time at the local flea market, where she was both a merchant and customer. Libby was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She had a huge heart and loved her cats, having breakfast at McDonald's, and was an amazing couponer. Libby enjoyed watching horror movies, the Beverly Hillbillies, and Everybody Loves Raymond and she attended New Covenant Church. In addition to her parents, Libby was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Paul Foley, Sr. Libby is survived by her daughter; grandson: two great-grandchildren; son; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; step-son; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; step-daughter; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; another step-daughter; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and her sister. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 16, 2023, from 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC 27317. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 PM in Dr. Clyde M. Gilmore Memorial Park, 6500 Liberty Rd., Julian, NC 27283 with Pastor Greg Bouck officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Libby's honor to the American Cancer Society, Donate Today | The American Cancer Society
