About Elinor Gable
BALTIMORE-- Elinor L. (Wilburn) Gable, 71, of Baltimore, died Saturday afternoon at Johns Hopkins-Bayview in Baltimore. She was the wife of Leon J. Gable. The service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Feiser Funeral Home Inc., 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford. Burial will be in New Oxford Cemetery. There will be no viewing. Visitation will be 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Gable was born May 5, 1925, in Grantsville, Md. She was the daughter of the late Roy and Grace (Hoover) Wilburn. Mrs. Gable also is survived by a son, Reginald J. Gable of St. Paul, Minn.; two daughters, Diane L. Giron of Minneapolis and Mary C. Benesh of Coon Rapids, Minn.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Marilyn Edwards of Salisbury, Md., and Rheba Cofiell of Grantsville. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Cecily Eisley, pastor of Emory United Methodist Church in New Oxford. York Daily Record (PA) - Monday, March 17, 1997
