About Effie Salsman
Effie Violet Salsman, 74, of Bridgecreek, passed away on January 19, 2023, in her home. The daughter of Everett Lee Webb and Jewel Vetia (Hildreth) Webb, Effie was born on November 23, 1948, in Prague, Oklahoma. She grew up in Welty and moved to Stroud when she was 18. She lived several years in Moore before making her home in Bridgecreek in 1971. Effie was a homemaker, but had also done most of her college work for her education degree. She enjoyed cooking and sewing. She also loved her flowers. But family and church were the most important things in her life. She was currently a member of Crosslight Ministries in Moore but was also past member of Oakhurst Trinity Holiness Church in Dibble and Free Holiness Church of Moore. Effie is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Junior and Charles Webb; three sisters, Wanda Montgomery, Barbara Davis, and Kathy Jacobs. Effie is survived by her daughter, Vetia Culp and husband Butch of Newcastle; son, Michael Salsman and wife Rachel of Bridgecreek; three grandchildren, Dustin Culp, Laci Culp, and Jaree Culp; five great grandchildren; and one great, great grandchild; one brother, Gene Webb of Shawnee; one sister, Pat Booze and husband Ray of Shawnee; several nieces, nephews, and many more loving family members and friends.
