About Edward Cabral
Edward J. Cabral, 88, of Middleboro, died unexpectedly November 15, 2016, at Morton Hospital in Taunton. He was the husband of the late Marion E. (Pettersen) Cabral. Born in Stoughton, he was the son of the late Manuel and Vera (Rubello) Cabral. Ed was educated in Stoughton schools and had lived in East Bridgewater, Brockton and in Middleboro since 1999. He worked as a truck driver, working for many trucking companies in the area. He enjoyed yard work, gardening, traveling and camping but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by 5 children, Judy Girard, James E. Cabral and his wife Paula, Sandra McDonough, Lisa Cabral and her companion Steven Butcher and Edward M. Cabral and his wife Susan; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Cabral; and many nieces and nephews. He was also the father of the late Andrew, Stephen and Diane Conti. Visitation will take place Saturday, November 19, 2016, from 10-11 a.m. in the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, 647 Main St., Brockton, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery in Brockton.
