About E Mueller
E. John Mueller, 98, formerly of New Holstein, died Monday, Sept. 30, 2002, at Villa Loretto Nursing Home in Mount Calvary. He was born July 8, 1904, in the Town of Brothertown, a son of the late Joseph and Mary Berchem Mueller. On June 28, 1939, he married Margaret Mary Thill at St. Charles Catholic Church in Charlesburg. She preceded him in death on Feb. 4, 2001. E. John had worked for the City of New Holstein and the former Schilling Hardware Store. He retired from Kestell Furniture in 1996. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein and the Holy Name Society. Survivors include three sisters-in-law, Justina Mueller of New Holstein, Esther Ludwig of Chilton and Vivian Hertel of Chilton; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife; four brothers, Bert, Edwin, Clarence and Clemens; and one sister, Alvina Fassbender. Services: A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2002, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein. The Rev. Frank Weber, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be at the parish cemetery. Visitation: Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
