Blanch Johnson of Verplanck died on October 27, 2008. She was 94 years old. Blanch was born November 13, 1913 in Verplanck,NY to Andrew and Mary (Lent) Harbolic. She is survived by her children Janet (Donald) Croft and Gary (Nona) Johnson, grandchildren Laura and Karen Johnson, Donald Croft Jr., Donna Amundsen and Jessica Booth, great grandchildren, Derek Johnson and Jessica Libby, brother, George Edward Harbolic, sister, Mary Elizabeth Loubengeiger, and many nieces and nephews. Blanch was predeceased by her husband John Calvert , son John Calvert Jr., brothers Andrew, Kenneth, Alfred and William Harbolic, sisters Gladys Turner and Lillian Conklin. Visitation will be today from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Church of Devine Love, 70 Sunset Rd.,Montrose,NY. Funeral Service Thursday 10 AM at the Church with interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery, Cortlandt Manor,NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Church of Devine Love.
