The Steele Enterprise Obituary Steele, Missouri February 28, 2008 Eunice Andrew "Andy" Hill, 82, of Caruthersville, died Sunday Feb. 24, 2008 at the Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Crystal City. Born Aug. 17, 1925 in Caruthersville, she is the daughter of the late Rouss Johnson and Ada Collins. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Carrie Mae Hill. She was a member of the Eastwood Memorial United Methodist Church and the Explorers Bible Class. Andy was united in marriage to Tom Hill on Oct. 27, 1946. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Hill leaves her children: Sarah Jane Wells of Hillsboro, Tom and Rouss Hill of Caruthersville, and Richard Hill of Memphis, Tenn.; One sister, Margaret Schaffer; Seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Hill were held Wednesday, Feb. 27, at the Eastwood Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dwight Chapman and Dr. Paul Currie officiating. Burial was in the Pemiscot Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Caruthersville. H.S. Smith Funeral Home of Caruthersville was in charge of services.
