About Duaine Daft
Avoca - Duaine R. Daft, 49 , of Avoca, died Sunday, Oct. 10, 1999. He was born Sept. 10, 1950 in Port Huron, the son of Robert and Shirley (Dunn) Daft. He married Jeanette Jewel on Dec. 10, 1983 in North Street. He was a automotive master mechanic for 25 years. He served three years in Germany with the U. S. Army during Vietnam. He loved bowling, fishing and camping. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette; four sons, Johnathon, Duaine S., David and Duaine Jr.; four daughters, Kathy,an, Diane and Shirley; ten grandchildren; his mother, Shirley Daft; his sisters, Bonnie, Glenis, Sharon, Kathleen, Robin and Kim; his brothers, Dwight, Kenneth and Brian; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Kaatz Funeral Directors, Avoca. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery. Visiting hours are 6 to 8 p. m. today and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
