Obituary - 23 May 1971 Medford Mail Tribune - Medford, Jackson, Oregon, USA Dorothy M. Quackenbush Funeral services for Dorothy M. Quackenbush, 74, of Rogue River, who died Wednesday, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Conger-Morris downtown chapel. The Rev. Darwin A. Mann of the First Christian Church will officiate. Committal will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park on North Phoenix Road with Conger-Morris Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Quackenbush was born Aug. 20, 1896 in Arden, MO., a daughter of the late Joseph S. Spitzer and Margaret Castner and has lived in southern Oregon since 1905. On July 3, 1913, in Jacksonville, she married Paul Quackenbush, who survives. Survivors beside her husband include one brother, Joseph Spitzer, Medford. Pallbearers will include Terry Hamilton, Richard Kime, John Kime, Ralph Kime, Gerald Kime, and Leonard Nyberg. (provided by Jerry Kime)
