Domingo Zamora Botello

Domingo "Reco" Botello was born on January 17, 1945 in Beeville, TX and was called home on March 7, 2014 in Austin, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents Domingo Botello and Maria Zamora Botello, and his son Domingo "Hito" Botello. He is survived by his wife, Rose Botello and his children: Linda Ypepez (David), Yolanda Ramirez (Antonio), Mark Botello (Ursula), Jamie Botello (Christina), Mike Fabian (Linda), David Fabian, Alex Fabian (Toni), and Gloria Salinas (Luis). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was the founder and Senior Pastor of House of the Living God in Austin, TX. Services will be held at Trevino Funeral Home, 401 W. Springer, Beeville, TX 78102, Tuesday March 11th at 7pm and Wednesday March 12th at 1pm with burial following at Evangelico Cemetery. Matthew 28:18,19,20 "And JESUS came and spoke unto them saying, All power is given unto ME in Heaven and Earth. Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the FATHER, and of the SON, and of the HOLY SPIRIT: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always even unto the end of the world. AMEN." Our Dad was a very strong man of GOD who touched many lives. He gave his heart to CHRIST 40 years ago and he told everyone his testimony on how CHRIST JESUS delivered him. Bro. Mingo was an obedient man of GOD who answered every call GOD placed on his heart, from ministering in Mexico for over 20 years, singing and preaching across Texas, and visiting inmates in prison. He was a caring and giving man who always believed in serving others. He has impacted so many people through his unconditional love. He has shown all of us many things from working on our cars to remodeling our homes, but the biggest and greatest thing he ever taught us was to love GOD with all our hearts and to always have forgiveness. He asked that we go forward continuing to serve GOD with all our hearts, preaching the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST without compromise, as he called it, no "watered down" version, and saving souls for the Kingdom of GOD. He is the pillar of our family and he will always be missed.
