About Dolores Biscotti
Dolores G. Warunek Biscotti, 82, of Dupont passed away Thursday, July 17, 2014, at home.Born Jan. 12, 1932, in Dupont, she was a daughter of the late Frank Warunek and Mary Treszniak Warunek. She was a graduate of Dupont High School.On Jan. 24, 1953, she married Mauer Biscotti of Pittston. They resided in Pittston for 51 years where they raised their family. For the past 10 years they lived in Dupont. Taking care of her family was the most important thing to her.Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her sons, Thomas Biscotti, Pittston; and Mauer and wife, Mary Biscotti, Kingston; daughter, Maureen and husband, David Troynacki, Pittston; brother, John Warunek; sisters, Elizabeth Mazur and Helen Sedlak; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dolores' name to the Medical Oncology Associates' Prescription Assistance Fund, 382 Pierce St., Kingston, PA 18704.Funeral services have been entrusted to Graziano Funeral Home Inc., Pittston Township.A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Those who plan on attending the funeral services should be at the funeral home no later than 10 a.m.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Nativity of Our Lord Parish (Holy Rosary Church), Duryea, at 11 a.m. Saturday.
