Beckler, 75, Tulsa and formerly of Rapid City, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2001, at Village Health Care Center in Broken Arrow, Okla. Survivors include one son, Tulsa; two brothers, five sisters and two grandchildren. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, at Kline-Frost Funeral Chapel in Belle Fourche, S.D. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at St. James Lutheran Church in Belle Fourche, with the Rev. Kent Stillson officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Slope Cemetery in Belle ------------------ Funeral services for David S. David died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2001, at the Village Health Care Center in Broken Arrow, Okla. He was born Oct. 16, 1926, at Scranton, N.D., to Matthew and Ella Hoth Beckler. He graduated from high school and on April 18, 1949, he married Margaret Powers. He worked for Farmers Co-Op and the State of South Dakota for a period of time before spending most of his working career at Cal Gas in Rapid City. He retired in 1988 and moved to Oklahoma in 1991, where he and Margaret built a new home in Tulsa. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid music player of the guitar and banjo. For several years, he had his own band and entertained at many dances. David loved his grandchildren very much and always enjoyed playing a game of cards. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret on Dec. 10, 2000, his parents and two sisters and two brothers.
