Danna Elizabeth Lauderdale

Wooster Funeral Home Danna Elizabeth (Davis) Lauderdale was born January 23, 1975, in Ada, OK and entered her forever home, Monday July 4, 2022, at 47 years old. She was the daughter of Danny and Nancy (Reynolds) Davis. She brought sunshine to whomever crossed her path from that day forward. From childhood to adulthood, you never knew what was going to come out of her mouth. She was always very thoughtful and considerate of other people's feelings, especially those that were down on their luck or might not fit in with others. She attended Elmore City schools from kindergarten through 12th grade. After graduation she got her B.A and two master's degrees in education from East Central University. Danna worked in education her entire life at various schools in our area. Her final teaching job was at Lexington Middle school where she served as the Dean of students and Special Ed. Director. She loved kids and wanted them to be the very best they could be. Danna's dedication to her chosen profession is obvious by the kind remarks that have been shared about her by both her peers and students. Danna accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age, but later in life confirmed her salvation and was baptized at Elmore City First Baptist Church where she attended and served in various capacities. Danna was a dedicated mom to not only her five boys but other children that have crossed her path over the years as well. She enjoyed attending her children's sporting events where she always coached and refereed from the stands. She also enjoyed listening to her sons play various musical instruments in the school and Church environments. She was THE BEST MOM!! Danna was a practical joker that didn't mind laughing with you, at you, or at herself. She loved people unconditionally and never met a stranger. Danna was preceded in death by her father, Danny Joe Davis, and her grandparents. The family requests memorials be made in Danna's memory to MD Anderson Cancer Center at gifts.mdanderson.org. The funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church Elmore City, Ok. Burial will follow at the Elmore City Cemetery.
