About Daniel Banker
Daniel B. Banker, 87, formerly of 16 Elizabeth St. in Dansville died Sunday (Dec. 14, 1986) in Noyes Memorial Hospital following a long illness. Born Dec. 12, 1899, a son of Daniel G. and Ida Kennedy Banker, he was married to the late Alice I. Banker. He owned and operated a farm along Route 63 in Groveland until his retirement in 1968. Mr. Banker was an avid bowler and had been a member of the Scottsburg Grange and the IOOF Lodge in Geneseo. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Robert J. (Connie) Kane of Dansville and Mrs. Edward (Joyce) Litteer of Elloree, S.C.; a brother, Glenn of Charlestown, W.Va.; two sisters, Geraldine Penn of Denton, Tex., and Florence Carney of Dansville; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A service was conducted Tuesday afternoon in the Hindle Funeral Home of Dansville with the Rev. G. Calvin Sheasley officiating. Interment was in Union Cemetery, Scottsburg. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dansville Ambulance Fund. ********************************
