Daisy Irene Bachtel

Obituary: Daisy Irene Bachtel, age 32, Carrollton, MO, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour, at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at her home surrounded by her family. Daisy was born October 29, 1979 in Waverly, MO, the daughter of Kenny and Ellen (Smith) Davis. She attended Carrollton Grade School and graduated from Carrollton High School in 1998. She attended State Fair Community College, in Sedalia, MO for two years. On April 29, 2000 she married Brian Edward Bachtel at the United Methodist Church in Carrollton, MO. Daisy was employed at Davis Auto, Carrollton, MO, and assisted Charlene McFadden with her horses at Apple Valley Farms in Waverly, MO. She was a member of the Southside Baptist Church in Carrollton, MO. Brian, Gracie and Lilly were the loves of her life. She enjoyed her family and friends immensely and loved caring for and riding her horses. Daisy is survived by her husband, Brian of the home; daughters, Gracie and Lilly of the home; parents, Kenny and Ellen Davis, Carrollton, MO; two brothers, Wade Davis and wife Beth, Carrollton, MO, Matt Davis and wife Jennifer, Carrollton, MO; and one niece, several nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bob and Pauline Smith, and Warren and Gladys Davis. Her strong faith in the Lord is what led her through each and everyday. She was admired for her strength and courage and was an inspiration to all that knew her. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, July 6, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Bittiker Funeral Home, 1201 North 65 Highway, Carrollton, MO. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Bittiker Funeral Home with Reverend Rodney Baumgarden officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Carrollton, MO. The family suggests contributions be made to H.E.L.P. Services Cancer Fund or Southside Baptist Church Building Fund in memory of Daisy. They may be left at or mailed to Bittiker Funeral Home, P.O.
