About Daisy Adkins
EAST LIVERPOOL – Daisy M. Adkins, formerly of East Liverpool, passed away April 1, 2023, at the Calcutta Health Care Center. She was 90. Born in Williamstown, West Virginia, February 17, 1933, a daughter of the late John and Verdie Bayless Johnson. At one time, she worked at the Dairyland and Johnny's Pizza Hut in Midland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie R. Adkins, on June 5, 2015. The couple married January 14, 1950. She was also preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children: Linda Adkins of Falling Waters, West Virginia, Vickie Nelson of New Cumberland, Russell Lee Adkins of Calcutta, and Rick Adkins and his wife, Kelly, also of Calcutta. There are six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Pastor Tom Adkins will conduct a funeral service at 6:00 p.m. Thursday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. A private burial will be at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
