Claudia Yanet Padilla

Claudia Yanet Padilla, 24, of Buhl, Idaho formerly of Blackfoot passed away Monday, September 18, 2017 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born December 23, 1992, in Guadalajara, Mexico, the daughter of Juvenal Padilla and Maria A Valdez Doran. At just 3 months she moved with her family to Blackfoot, Idaho where she lived and attended schools at Groveland Elementary, Mountain View Middle School and ultimately graduated from Blackfoot High School. She continued her education at BYU-Idaho and was a semester away from receiving her bachelors degree in health care administration. She had worked at the Blackfoot Medical Clinic and Blackfoot Physical Therapy along with an early shift at McDonalds in Blackfoot. She was currently employed at Idaho Central Credit Union in Twin Falls. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and had a great love for her Father in Heaven. There were no strangers in Claudia’s life. She made friends with everyone she met. She loved to dance, laugh and visit with everyone. she loved her family and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She and Jesus Torres were promised to each other and was to receive an engagement ring this week. Survivors include her Father, Juvenal Padilla of Blackfoot and her mother Maria Valdez Duran of Buhl. Her siblings Estela Padilla, Andres Padilla and Fernando Padilla all of Blackfoot, Lorena Padilla, Tremonton, UT, Jose L. Padilla, Idaho Falls, Rosalva (J.P.) Ramos, Juvenal Padilla Jr. and Blanca (Gerardo) Silva, all of Blackfoot, and her fiancé Jesus Torres of Buhl. A viewing is planned for Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m.at the Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave. A celebration of life will be held 6:00 p.m. Saturday, September 23, 2017, also at Hawker Funeral Home in Blackfoot. Preceding the celebration of life the family will start receiving friends at 4 p.m. A funeral mass will be held 12:00 Noon, Monday, September 25, 2017 at the Church of Immaculate Conception, 1701 Poplar St. in Buhl, Idaho. the family will meet with friends at the church on Monday starting at 10a.m. until time of services.
