About Cheryl Steinbrink
Cheryl Y. Steinbrink, 70 years of age, passed away Sunday October 1, 2017 in Aurora, Ohio. Born in Somerset, Pennsylvania on August 12, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Ray L. and Bette L. (Jacobs) Bell. A 1965 graduate of Crestwood Schools, Cheryl had been a resident of the Mantua area since 1964. She had been employed by the U.S. Postal Service in Ravenna as a clerk, retiring in 2008 after over 25 years of service. Cheryl enjoyed Square Dancing and was a member of the Circulators Square Dance Club in Ravenna. For over 10 years, she was the Elf on the Polar Express. Her family will have cherished memories of the trips she so enjoyed with her grandchildren, and of her being an avid “Putt Putt” golfer, as well as the times she found for herself while walking at Sunny Lake. She is survived by her devoted children Bryan (Christine) Steinbrink of Medina, Tanya (John) Gaczkowski of Louisville, Ohio and Melissa Duncan of Hartville, Ohio; dear siblings Keith (Pam ) Bell of Garrettsville and Candy (Daniel) Toth of Mantua; her cherished longtime companion Alan McDaniel of Mantua; 6 loving grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St.Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255, where her funeral service will be held Thursday October 5, 2017 at 11:00 A.M.
