About Cheryl Aaron
Cheryl Lynn Aaron, 62, of Amarillo died Monday, Nov. 5, 2007. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Cheryl was born Sept. 15, 1945, in Pawhuska, Okla., to F.P. and Mary Margaret Campbell. She graduated from Phillips High School in 1964, where she played clarinet and was a baton twirler. She attended college for two years where she met and married Donald W. Aaron in 1968. He preceded her in death on Aug. 12, 2000. Cheryl had worked as a computer programmer, where she rose to junior president of data processing at IRM in Dallas. She enjoyed volunteering for mentoring programs in Amarillo schools and the Wesley Community Center. Survivors include a son, Don Aaron and wife Lynell of Henderson, Nev.; a sister, Lisa Moore of Denton; two brothers, Steve Campbell of Slaton and Sam Campbell of Clovis, N.M. The family suggests memorials be to the Wesley Community Center, 1615 S. Roberts St., Amarillo, TX 79102. Amarillo Globe-News, Nov. 6, 2007
