About Carol Struble
Carol J Struble March 29, 1940 ~November 15, 2023 Carol J. Struble, 83, of Belle Fourche died November 15, 2023 at the Hospice House in Rapid City, South Dakota. Carol was born March 29, 1940 in Hot Springs, SD to Benjamin and Virginia McFarland. She attended Hot Springs schools and later received her GED. She married Dell Struble on June 2, 1957 and to this marriage 7 children were born. She cooked at many establishments in the Belle Fourche area and her last job was cooking for Lunch Time Solutions at the high school. Carol spent time getting to know God while attending several churches over the years. Carol enjoyed canning and baking and sharing her goodies with family and friends. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and knitting and when not doing that she enjoyed reading. Carol loved her rabbits and she also loved plants, always having a room full of them. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Dell Struble; a daughter Edna Sinkey and a sister May Darling. She will be missed by her 6 children; 12 grandkids; 33 great grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren; her 2 sisters and her 2 brothers. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 25 at 10:00 am at Kline Funeral Chapel in Belle Fourche with her grandson officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Slope Cemetery in Belle Fourche. The family suggests memorials to the Hospice House in Rapid City, 224 Elk Street Rapid City, SD 57701.
