About Carol LaBounty
Carol I. LaBounty CLIFTON PARK Carol I. LaBounty, 51, of Barney Road, died Tuesday, January 14, 2003 at Samaritan Hospital after a long illness surrounded by her family and friends. Born in Troy, she was daughter of Charles Paulsen of Troy and the late Constance Murray Paulsen. She was a graduate of Troy High School and had been employed for 20 years by the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance in Albany, retiring last year due to illness. She was a member of the Civil Service Employees Association. Carol enjoyed doing crafts and participated in local craft shows, she also enjoyed dancing and traveling. A loving wife and mother she was very involved in the lives of her family and friends. In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Larry J. LaBounty; her daughters, Carol A. LaBounty and Laurie L. LaBounty of Clifton Park; and her sister, Linda R. Barber of Clifton Park. A brother, Raymond Paulsen, predeceased her. Several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews also survive. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday from the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rt. 32), Waterford and at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Waterford. Interment will be in St. Josephs Cemetery, Waterford. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Thursday, 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Liver Foundation in care of the funeral home office.
